There are two new Huawei flaghip ready to be released next year and one of them is the P60 series. Meanwhile, Weibo users are running over a rumor that the P60 series could end a long drought among Huawei flagships, which we’re here to talk about.

Weibo tipster Classmate guan revealed that people are talking about Huawei P60 being a 5G. However, as far as his confirmation, this upcoming flagship will remain 4G. this is quite a big bust for the rumor.

Also, the tipster mentioned that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Still, Qualcomm has not announced this chipset officially. But Huawei is likely to get only the 4G version in action.

Last month, Huawei launched Mate 50 series, these phones offer new hardware and packs with HarmonyOS 3 software. This phone takes power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset but remains locked on 4G.

The 5G quest is difficult due to U.S. sanctions, yet Huawei is trying to end this drought.

P series always symbolizes Huawei’s strength in mobile photography. Starting with P9, Huawei has brought a number of new camera technologies to make an impact on consumers. Last year in July, Huawei introduced P50 devices with a dual-ring camera system and we can expect that this iconic design may remain unchanged in the P60 series. But we can expect minor optimizations to improve the looks and feel of the entire device.

Aside from the software, Huawei will install a new algorithm to improve photo processing. This will also bring extra camera features to enjoy.

It would be nice to see if Huawei could have been able to offer 5G in the upcoming P60 series. It would surely increase the user experience and perfect demand among consumers. However, you’ll have to manage until the Mate 60 series rolls in, which could do some miracles.
