One UI 7 beta next week

Samsung is seemingly ready to launch its first One UI 7.0 Beta for flagship devices next week. A new piece of information suggests that Galaxy phone users don’t have to wait for much to grab the newest software experience on their handsets.

UniverseIce predicted that Samsung could release the One UI 7.0 first beta after November 17. Many early inputs claimed that the company may begin the new software testing by mid-November. Now the latest news adds more consent to it.

The tipster further reveals that South Korea and the United States will be the only two countries to fetch the first One UI 7.0 beta. Don’t worry as the company will gradually expand the software testing to more countries, probably with a different build.

Galaxy S24 series will likely be the first to get the One UI 7.0 beta and the tech giant will soon bring the firmware to more models. Once the beta rollout begins, the company won’t take much time to complete it for its eligible phones and tablets.

Android 15-based One UI 7.0 will bring impressive UI changes to Samsung devices. Besides the beta launch date, the tipster shared an image, hinting it to be One UI 7’s redesigned volume and brightness slider. You can check the image below.

  • Design: Both sliders reflect a pill-shaped layout with a fancy look. The internal icons are more recognizable than the previous version.
  • Accessibility: Both volume and brightness slider appear in the Quick Settings panel. Unlike, the typical sliders of One UI 6.0, users can easily access the new sliders.

However, it would be worth seeing how smoothly these sliders glide on different screen sizes. One may also witness more customizations in the Quick Settings as well as other UI segments in the One UI 7.0 software upgrade.
