October 2020 security update rolling out for Huawei Enjoy 9e

Huawei Enjoy 9e users getting a new software update that installs a security patch released in October 2020, which improves the system security by fixing different levels of exploits and issues.

Recently, Huawei has released a new software update for Huawei Enjoy 10 users running on EMUI 9.1. This update mainly brings the October 2020 security patch that fixes 21 high levels and 1 medium level of CVE’s to enhance the system security.

HOW TO UPDATE ENJOY 9e:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System 
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

NOTE:

1.  This update is currently rolling out in China.
2. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
3. The update will not erase any data.
