November 2021 software update released for Huawei MatePad T8 (EMUI 10.1)

Huawei has begun to roll out a new firmware update for Huawei MatePad T8 tablet that mainly installs the security patch released in November 2021. This update improves the overall system security and protects the device against threats.

According to the information, Huawei MatePad T8 November 2021 update comes with an upgraded EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.185 (C432E3R1P3). However, it brings an update package size of 101MB. (Via – Huaweiailesi)

The November 2021 security patch fixes 1critical, 22 high levels of CVEs, 8 medium levels of CVEs in the system. Additionally, it also resolves 2 high and 8 medium levels of CVEs in third-party libraries.

Update steps:

There are two ways that you can download this latest software update, both of these areas the following:

VIA SETTINGS:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on System & updates
3. Tap Software update
4. Tap Check for Updates
5. Download and Install
6. Install

After the installation and restart, we recommend you let the system optimize the new application so your device can run smoothly on further commands.

VIA MY HUAWEI:

You can also request this update via the Support app with the following instructions.

1. Open the My Huawei app
2. Tap on Update
3. Download and Install
4. Install
