November 2021 software update available for Huawei P20 Pro (EMUI 10)

Huawei P20 Pro smartphone users started getting a new firmware update that mainly installs the security patch released in November 2021. This latest security improvement increases the overall device security by fixing different levels of vulnerabilities and exposures.

According to the updated information, November 2021 Huawei P20 Pro update comes with EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.197 (C432E8R1P3) upgraded from 10.0.0.193. However, this update carries an installation package size of 277MB.

On the other hand, the changelog doesn’t have much to show us and has not mentioned any other changes made to the system. More information about the update instructions and notes is linked below.

Things to know:

3. Do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the installation is started

HOW TO INSTALL:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, tap on the update, then select Check for updates, and then download and install.

Huawei P20 Pro Last update:

The last update of Huawei P20 Pro came up with EMUI version 10.0.0.193 and brought various new features including e new Celia Voice assistant for voice interactions and speech recognition tasks, and installs April 2021 security patch.

In addition, it also added the Huawei apps folder to the home screen to keep you up to date on popular apps such as Petal Search, Reader, Petal Maps, GameCenter, Member Center, and Link Now. That’s not it, this update also installed the July 2021 security update for improved system security.
