November 2021 EMUI security update rolling for Huawei Mate 40 Pro
Huawei has started to rollout November 2021 EMUI security update for Mate 40 Pro smartphone for global users. This update fixes different levels of threats for improved system security and to enhance the overall user experience of the corresponding smartphone owners.
According to the Huaweiblog, the November 2021 update for Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with an upgraded EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.243 and an update package of 252MB. However, this new update is currently rolling out in Europe and soon expand to more regions.
EMUI 12:
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is already under EMUI 12 beta testing and brings a number of new features for the consumers ahead of the public release. However, the Chinese tech maker has launched the stable HarmonyOS operating system.

Update Note:
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- EMUI version and size may vary.
- Maintain enough battery and storage on your device.
HOW TO INSTALL:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
