November 2020 software update rolling out for Honor X10 and 20i
Honor has begun releasing a new software update for Honor X10 and Honor 20i users, which brings the latest November 2020 security patch that enhances the system performance and improves the system security.
Version: Honor X10 users start receiving Magic UI 3.1 version 3.1.1.180 updating from 3.1.1.177 and Honor 20i users getting EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.171 upgraded from 10.0.0.169.
Moreover, the Honor X10 smartphone is eligible for Magic UI 4 beta testing but, the company didn’t officially confirm that users will get Magic UI 4 or not. Users will be happier if they will be part of Magic UI 4 beta testing.

- Installs the November 2020 security patch that fixes 3 critical and 15 high-levels of CVE’s.
POINTS TO KNOW:
- This update is currently rolling out in China.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
UPDATE INSTRUCTION:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
