Next-gen Huawei MatePad Paper tablet might sport new screen size
The next-gen Huawei MatePad Paper tablets could bring a new screen size, says a recent leak. It seems the company is not only working on flagship products but also taking care of the mid-range market with an affordable span of devices.
As noted by tipster @FixedFocus, Huawei could soon launch a brand-new MatePad Paper tablet with a new screen size. For reference, the original MatePad Paper tablet launched in 2022 has a 10.3-inch screen with an E-Ink display technology.
The tipster further states that this input is still hanging in a dilemma. Hence, it’s unclear if the company will use new screen upgrades or stick to same parameters.
Although we can expect to a see fresh Huawei MatePad Paper tablet in August or later this year. Till then, we have to keep patience and wait for upcoming revelations.
Huawei has a bag full of flagship and mid-range tablets for consumers this year. The company has listed several new tablets on certification sites. A few of them such as MatePad SE 11 2024 have even launched and are available on the sale shelves.
Huawei MatePad Paper 2022 edition features a 10.3-inch display with an 1872 x 1404 pixels resolution and 227 PPI. It’s the first-ever e-ink tablet that provides a real paper-pen-like feel to consumers when performing various operations.
The device powers up with a Kirin 820E chipset and pre-installs the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. It has a 3625mAh battery which requires a standard charger supporting 10V/2.25A MAX.
Other features are WLAN 802.11, 2 x 2 MIMO, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, USB 2.0, and wireless screen projection. For sensors, the device uses gravity, hall, and fingerprint sensor.
It would be worth seeing what changes the next-generation MatePad Paper will bring over its predecessors.
