New system stability optimization update released for Huawei Smart Screen SE
After the official unveiling, Huawei Smart Screen SE, these HarmonyOS powered smart screens began receiving the first software update, which enhanced the overall system performance.
Launched on 19th of May, 2021, Huawei Smart Screen SE comes with two display sizes including 55 and 65 inches. This smart screen provides 4K resolution, HRD Vivid Display, Huawei’s self-developed color gamut color enhancement technologies, and more.
In addition, these screens packed with the latest sound technologies, 13MP front camera that can be flipped or could be attached to protect privacy and security.
Moreover, this Smart Screen also supports multiple smart experiences such as one-touch screen projection, the smooth connection of messages, and Huawei sharing. This is all possible with Wi-Fi and NFC features.

New HarmonyOS version details:
Huawei Smart Screen SE model owners can upgrade their screens to HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.553 (SP8) from HarmonyOS 2.0.0.553 (SP5)/ 2.0.0.553 (SP6) in China.

HOW TO UPDATE:
Manually Update:
- Open the wisdom screen
- In the Home, menu select All Applications
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on System
- Go to Software update
- Download and Install
Automatic Update:
- Open the wisdom screen
- In the Home, menu select All Applications
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on System
- Turn on the Automatic update switch
NOTE:
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- Please make sure that your smart screen must be a device officially shipped for commercial use (excluding informal purchase channels).
