New software update released for Huawei Enjoy 10 users, improves system security

A new software update is rolling out for Huawei Enjoy 10 users, which installs the security patch released in October 2020 that improves system security. However, this device is running on EMUI 9.1 not received the EMUI 10 major update, but Huawei is still releasing the monthly security patch for Enjoy 10 users.

Recently, Huawei kicked off the new update for Huawei Enjoy 20 series that brings new optimizations for system stability, calling experiences, and October 2020 security patch for Enjoy Pro users.

HUAWEI ENJOY 10 UPDATE CHANGELOG:

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in October 2020 for improved system security.

October 2020 Security Patch Details: October 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 21 high levels and 1 medium level of CVEs.

Version: This latest update for the Huawei Enjoy 10 comes with EMUI 9 version 9.1.1.193 from 9.1.1.192 in China.

HOW TO UPDATE ENJOY 10:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System 
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

NOTE:

1.  This update is currently rolling out in China.
2. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
3. The update will not erase any data.
