New software update Huawei Watch GT 2 improves system stability

Huawei Watch GT 2 is Huawei’s first smartwatch powered by the Kirin A1 chipset, offers new features, better build quality and a battery life that lasts up to 2 weeks.

To improve the user experience, Huawei is sending a new software update for Huawei Watch GT 2 series which comes with firmware version 1.0.5.56 and 17.59MB size.

Whats’s new?

This latest update for Huawei Watch GT 2 brings support for access card features and optimizes system stability for improved system performance.

Note: The update is currently rolling out in China but system stability improvements may soon roll out globally.

Follow the instructions below to update Huawei Watch GT 2:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.
