New Smart Multi-window and Art theme released of Huawei Mate 40 series

Huawei has begun sending a new software update for the Huawei Mate 40 series. This update brings a new smart multi-window feature, art theme, optimization for Huawei Wallet and improves the system stability for a better user experience.

Version: Huawei Mate 40 series receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.135 SP5, which is updated from EMUI 11.0.0.130.

Previously, Mate 40 series update brought optimizes for the sound experience of some game scenes and improvements for system stability.

Moreover, Huawei launched Mate 40 series with pre-installed EMUI 11 that offers the new EMUI 11 features like smart AOD, super notepad, subtle effect, multi-screen collaboration, and much more.

Smart Multi-window: Added drop-down banner notification to quickly launch the floating window and the floating window can be zoomed in smaller proportions.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

1. Currently, this update is rolling out in China.
2. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
3. The update will not erase any data.
