New optimizations with 1.0.0.158 update rolling out for Huawei FreeLace Pro

Huawei FreeLace Pro, the neckband-style wireless earphone has started receiving a new firmware update with version 1.0.0.158. However, this new firmware comes with an update small package size of 1.71MB.

According to the changelog, this update brings optimizations for system stability that helps the device to run more stable for a better audio experience. Apart from this, the 1.0.0.158 update log for Huawei FreeLace Pro doesn’t include any changes made to the system.

To upgrade over this new update on your FreeLace Pro earphones, you just have to connect them to your smartphone via Bluetooth. To download the update, click Settings and select Firmware update, now tap Check for updates and download.

Huawei FreeLace Pro comes 814mm in length with Dual-mic Active noise cancellation and triple-mic Noise cancellation for calls. It packs with 150mAh battery that can provide up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge while charging with Huawei HiPair.

The earbuds support sensor controls such as magnetic control earbuds, a physical button for multi-function, power, and volume, and it also has a touch button on the left earphone. The FreeLace Pro supports Bluetooth 5.0 and can be paired using Huawei HiPair. But the HiPair pairing option is supported on USB-C port devices of certain editions running EMUI 9.1 or later.
