New optimizations for system and sound rolling out for Huawei Mate 40 Series
Huawei has launched its latest flagship lineup, Huawei Mate 40 series on October 22 at the global launch Conference 2020. This flagship lineup comes with pre-installed EMUI 11.
Following the launch, Huawei is continuously sending new EMUI 11 updates for Mate 40 series devices. This new update brings the optimizations for system stability and improves the sound experience of some game scenes.
Previous Mate 40 series update comes with improvements for camera effects, sound and system stability, and improves fluency of knuckle gesture.
New version details:
Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Pro+, RS Porsche Design devices are getting EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.130 SP5 updated from 11.0.0.130 SP1.

HOW TO UPDATE HUAWEI MATE 40 SERIES:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
NOTE:
- This update is currently rolling out in China.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
