New Link Turbo technology brings 5G download speed at up to 2.3Gbps on smartphone
On January 22, 2021, At the Honor V40 launch event, Honor announced the Link Turbo network aggregation technology for the Honor V40 smartphone.
According to the information, the Link Turbo technology has 5G NR/CA dual-carrier support and provides network download speed at up to 2Gbps and converted download speed at up to 2.3Gbps.
At the press conference, Honor also showed a comparison of network download speed between Honor V40, Oppo Reno 5 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro. The test uses SPEEDTEST app and China Unicom’s 5G network.
The result reveals that the Honor V40 can reach up to 2019.43Mbps and the average speed is stable at above 2Gbps, which is twice compared to the other two smartphones.
Link Turbo technology on Honor V40 encompasses four-network collaboration, supporting 2.4GHz+5Ghz WLAN, 5G data, 4G data, and peak speed that can reach up to 2.3Gbps.
This feature enables automatically and can achieve a smooth network connection experience in real-world apps that uses high bandwidth and requires a faster internet connection.
