New Kirin 9000s Geekbench test shows performance above 5nm Kirin 9000 5G

Yesterday, we saw a low performance score of the Kirin 9000s but now we have a high benchmark result from Geekbench, which goes above Kirin 9000 5G.

In the latest listing, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro model – ALN-AL00 with a single-core score of 1323 points and 3630 points on multi-core.

Compared to this, some of the early tests that surfaced online show the phone with a 914 single-core score and 2896 multi-core score. The difference between the two test results is completely different.

The first one sits above Kirin 9000 5G and the second one stands around Kirin 990. These two chipsets are processed with 5nm and 7nm technologies respectively.

Geekbench score reveals that Kirin 9000 5G powered Huawei Mate 40 Pro achieved 1192 points on single core and 3488 points on multi-core.

Thus, making the Kirin 9000s the fastest and the most powerful Kirin chip ever. On the other hand, we can take this competition to Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

Octa-core:

The chipset has octa-core architecture including 4 x 1.53GHz + 3 x 2.15GHz + 1 x 2.62GHz. It is also revealed that the chip has Huawei’s custom Meleoon 910 GPU. For the time being, Huawei has not revealed details of this new Kirin 9000s processor.

Huawei Mate 60 series is the first set of devices to feature Kirin 9000s and the Geekbench score shows that it delivers performance above Kirin 9000 5G.
