New Huawei smart car technology can detect abnormal driving behaviour

Huawei has published a new patent related to autonomous driving and it’s being called “A Method for Recognizing Abnormal Driving Behaviors” with the publication number CN112512890B.

The patent description reveals a process and system for identifying abnormal driving behavior and a vehicle including the system. Among them, methods for identifying abnormal driving behavior include:

• Obtain vehicle driving behavior data, and determine whether the vehicle is in a state of suspicious abnormal driving behavior based on the vehicle driving behavior data.
• If the vehicle is in a state of suspicious abnormal driving behavior, obtain current vehicle driving scene data.
• Determine whether the suspicious abnormal driving behavior is an abnormal driving behavior according to the vehicle driving behavior data and the current vehicle driving scene data.
