New HarmonyOS 2 public beta to start in July, includes Huawei Mate 20 and 16 other models
Following the launch, HarmonyOS 2 started making its way to the Huawei devices launched in China. At the unveiling, the company announced and began the rollout of HarmonyOS 2 public beta for 18 devices.
Moving on, Huawei also expanding the HarmonyOS 2 public beta program by including more models in the second phase. The lineup of devices consists – Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G, Nova 7 5G, Nova 7 Pro 5G, Nova 8, and Nova 8 Pro 5G.
According to the official information, the company will open the next phase of public beta with even more Huawei devices, and recruitment scheduled to start in July. For your information, the upcoming recruitment will cover 17 old devices coming from Mate, Nova, Enjoy, and MatePad series. These devices and eligible models are already selected for HM OS closed beta program, which initially began on June 2.
However, it would be more exciting to see, if Huawei would match the clock and make HarmonyOS available for the global consumers because they also eagerly waiting to test this operating system as soon as possible. As currently, there have been no remarks that have been made by Huawei on this matter.
