New flagship Huawei smartwatch is launching for global consumers

Today, Huawei has announced a brand new smartwatch for global consumers and it will derive from the flagship genre. This is quite surprising because it is a fresh wearable aside from the Huawei Watch Ultimate.

To verify, Huawei also shared a teaser image, which confirms its appearance to be different from the upcoming Watch Ultimate. For your information, Huawei will introduce Watch Ultimate in the global market on May 9th alongside Huawei P60 Pro and Mate X3 foldable.

The picture shows a round dial and the watch has mixed aesthetics of Watch GT 2 Pro and Watch 3 Classic Edition. The smartwatch’s frame is a compound of stainless steel or titanium. The glass material may be sapphire, as Huawei has increased its use in the top smartwatches. Looking closely, we’ve found that the promoted version has a titanium strap. As there are more variants coming on the launch stage.

Coming to the core details, the display has low bezels and a high aspect ratio. There are two functional buttons including a rotating top crown, and a functional button on the bottom right.

These buttons are identical to the Watch 3 and Watch GT 3 series. Notably, the physical buttons are also made with tough material. Furthermore, the crown is detailed in a red circle.

Huawei Watch 4:

With a brightness exposure on the image, there’s a hidden branding that revealed the identity of the smartwatch. The carving on the rotating crown says “Huawei Watch”, which belongs o the main watch lineup.

For those who don’t know, Huawei made these carvings on the “Huawei Watch” and “Huawei Watch GT” respective watch series.

Eventually, the new teaser belongs to the Huawei Watch 4 series. Huawei Watch 4 is already preparing for this unveiling for quite a time and it’s finally ready as a new flagship smartwatch with the latest technologies.
