New display optimizations head to Huawei Watch D smartwatch

Huawei Watch D is the first ever Huawei smartwatch with a blood pressure measurement feature. Also, the watch is receiving continuous improvements with new software updates. Adding to this, Huawei Watch D is now getting new display optimizations for a better viewing experience.

According to the details, Huawei is sending the new display optimizations to the Watch D smartwatch and the Chinese tech maker has ensured that all models get this upgrade.

Huawei Watch D Update details:

Huawei has released the new firmware 2.1.0.385 and the Watch D with 2.1.0.361(C00M04)/ 2.1.0.368(C00M05)/
2.1.0.360(C00M04) can update to the latest version together. Other than display optimizations, Huawei is also tweaking the stability improvements to provide better performance.

HarmonyOS 3:

Over the past three months, Huawei has installed HarmonyOS 3 in all of the smartwatches in China and in the global market. These include Huawei Watch 3 and Watch GT 3 series. All of the variants run the new features.

But the Chinese tech maker is taking some time to change the software lane for the Huawei Watch D smartwatch. As it still running HarmonyOS 2.1. We hope that the watch users may soon install HarmonyOS 3 upgrade.

Important notes:

The new software version is released in batches. If you somehow have not received a new version notification then please wait until the upgrade reaches your model. To manually check for the software update, visit the Huawei Health app and then check for new firmware under the software update section.

Huawei Watch D may take minutes to download and install the OTA update package and we suggest you wait until the installation completes. Notice that your smartwatch will restart after the installation process.

However, before you move to upgrade your smartwatch, make sure it has sufficient power and the Bluetooth connection is not disturbed. Otherwise, the upgrade will fail. If the update process failed, tap on retry. We suggest you do not operate the smartwatch during the installation phase.
