New app downloading status animation of Huawei HarmonyOS look really good

Huawei is almost done with the development of HarmonyOS for smartphones and other smart devices. And now, the company is testing this operating system in different Huawei devices, ahead of upgrading large-scale devices on HarmonyOS 2.0 AKA Hongmeng OS 2.0.

In the meantime, the smartphone demonstration video of HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta 3 is popping up on the online platform, showing new features and capabilities.

In this line, a new video of Huawei P40 Pro running on HarmonyOS 2.0 appeared online, which shows the application downloading animation that looks similar to Apple’s iOS but not a copy.

In work, when a user downloads an application, the app icon begins appearing on the app drawer and filled like a progress bar reflecting the download status. App remains inaccessible until the app downloading finishes.

However, if the user taps on the app icon before concluding the download process, the app pauses download and resumes on the same process. Once downloaded, the application ready to use.

Recently, we have also reported that some famous iOS 14 features are now part of HarmonyOS 2.0. According to the previous information, the third beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0 brings new widgets and App library system, which are identical to the latest iOS edition.

After the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta announcement in December 2020, Huawei has started recruiting the device from different flagship segments in main China for this beta testing.

Moving on, after the completion of enrollment, Huawei has begun delivering HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta test builds for registered devices. As of now, the company has released 3 betas of HarmonyOS 2.0.

Last April, Huawei opened HarmonyOS 2.0 beta activity for more devices including Mate 40, Mate X2, and more. As per previous details, the general smartphone users will get HarmonyOS upgrades in the month of June.
