New AITO M5 model could launch alongside Huawei P70 series in March
Huawei P70 series is tipped to launch in March this year but it looks like, the flagship lineup could accompany a brand new AITO M5 smart car model at the consumer stage. Some new inputs are here to shed light on this matter.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus shared a few details that reveal Huawei’s car solutions business could reach new heights this year. The Chinese tech giant is likely to unveil 7 to 8 new smart vehicles in 2024 with high-end capabilities.
At the same time, the tipster said that a modified AITO M5 smart car model is in the making and could launch by late March or early April, probably with the Huawei P70 series. Perhaps, the company has more products in the pipeline for the Spring Launch Conference.
Looking into the previous grand unveiling events, the Chinese tech giant used to release a bunch of products including a flagship smartphone lineup and a smart car. During the Nova 12 series launch event, Huawei brought the AITO M9 SUV. Now, we may see an upgraded smart car with a P70 lineup.
Although there isn’t any confirmation on the launch timeline of both these products. Hence, we need to wait for more inputs to remove the mist from the subject.
Huawei AITO M5 – Modified Version?
The leak regarding an upgraded AITO M5 smart car by Huawei and SERES raised a buzz in the comment section. Several netizens said that the company may bring an AITO M5 2024 smart vehicle on the stage.
As per the details, the overhauled AITO M5 could bring new features, design, and interesting key specs along with cost reduction. Yet, it would be worth seeing how the new invention differs from its predecessors and other siblings.
AITO Wenjie M5 Standard Version:
In July 2023, AITO unveiled the standard AITO M5 smart car equipped with Huawei DATS technology. It had two versions: rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive priced at 249,800 and 269,800 respectively. Despite new features, the Huawei ADS 2.0 smart driving system was not a part of this vehicle. Though we may see this change in the upcoming model.
