Netizens reveal Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 12GB version runs on Kirin 9000WE chip
News regarding Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch S says that the 12GB version of this tablet runs on a new Kirin 9000WE chip. The processor seems different from the Kirin 9000WL and 9000WM spotted in the standard and Smart model respectively.
After purchasing the device, many netizens checked the chipset details. But they were surprised to find a new chip in the MatePad 11.5 S 12GB version – Kirin 9000WE.
Further inputs reveal that the Kirin 9000WE is an octa-core processor with 12 threads. It supports Maleoon 910 GPU and has the following CPU architecture:
- 2 x 2.48GHz + 4 x 1.53GHz + 6 x 2.15GHz
Judging from the core arrangements, the Kirin 9000WE is identical to the 9000WL processor. Both the chips have no difference except for the name. Perhaps these could be the derivatives of the Kirin 9000S1 launched with the standard Pura 70.
MatePad 11.5-S tablet: it’s mysterious!
Huawei launched the MatePad 11.5-inch S tablet last month. Thereafter, many consumers purchased the device due to its sleek design, useful features, and the pre-installed GoPaint app that provides a seamless painting experience on board.
Some users even tried to test the device and explore its functionalities. During these tests, details like different chips and increased charging power appeared on the table.
The tablet is still a mystery for several users due to its new chips. Huawei has neither said anything on this matter nor listed the chipset on the official website. It would be worth seeing what else changes we will grab with the newly launched tablet.
