Netizens compare iPhone 16 design with 2 year old Huawei mid-ranger

Apple has unveiled the iPhone 16 series with a new design and netizens are now comparing it with a Huawei device. Interestingly, the comparison is not between the latest iPhone and Mate XT but a 2-year-old Huawei mid-ranger which is worth noting.

The old mig-ranger that we’re talking about is the Huawei Nova 10 SE. Yes, a few netizens are making fun of the iPhone 16 series design by comparing it with an old Huawei handset. They even compared some key specs of both smartphones.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus shared a comparative image of the iPhone 16 and Nova 10 SE. The image reflects that both devices have an identical lens module on the back. It is a vertical pill-shaped bump with two camera rings. The LED flash is outside.

After this post, words like “similar appearance, same design, exactly the same, and more” filled the comment section. A netizen even said that the Nova 10 SE still seems superior as it has a refresh rate of 90Hz and 66W fast charging service.

For reference, the iPhone 16 supports a 60Hz refresh rate and 45W charging. Apart from the camera bump, some netizens said that both models have a similar color. It seems tech vendors think the same when it comes to the device’s aesthetics.
