Multiple Huawei phones with HarmonyOS software kernel appeared on HiSuite, suggests near beta testing

Previously on 7 April 2021, President of Consumer BG Huawei– Dr. Wang Chenglu, gave a keynote speech at the TEDxHouHai event powered by Pressure. During the event, he said that the company is likely to start upgrading most of the models before June this year, including smartphones, tablets, and other IoT gadgets of the partner manufacturers also.

Prior to this, it was reported that the first batch of smartphones for the beta updates includes, Huawei Mate X2, Huawei P40 series, and Huawei Mate40 lineup.

Regarding this matter, a well-known Weibo tipster – Changan Digital King shared a post informing us that the latest version of the Huawei HiSuite PC application, which is showing some important facts regarding the upcoming launch of the HarmonyOS mobile.

At the same time, multiple Huawei phones such as the Huawei P30, P40, and Huawei Mate40 lineup, seem to be working on HarmonyOS 2.0.0 software version. This clearly indicates that Huawei is planning to upgrade its older devices to the last model possible.

Still, Huawei has not officially announced a roadmap of HarmonyOS mobile upgrade but we can see the changes made in the previous EMUI bottom layer, including some Huawei HarmonyOS programs.

According to the previous information, Wang already announced that the company is aiming to deliver this new software on 300 million devices within this year, of which, only 200 million devices will come from the smartphone category, followed by tablets, IoT devices and more.
