More retailer offers a full refund if your Huawei phone doesn’t run Google and Facebook apps in Singapore. We have seen a similar offer in the Philippines and that covers the entire range of new Huawei smartphones.
A retailer, Challenger, Hachi.tech, is offering an “assurance warranty program” which includes 100% money-back guarantee for the purchase of selected Huawei smartphones if Google and Facebook apps don’t run on these devices within a two-year period. For some tablets, the warranty period is one year. This “Assurance Warranty” program will run from 22 June 2019 to 31 August 2019.
The following Huawei devices are eligible for this “Assurance Warranty” Program: P20, P20 Pro, P30, P30 lite, P30 Pro, Mate 20 Porsche Design RS, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20X, Nova 3i, Y6 Pro 2019, MediaPad M5 Lite 10, MediaPad T5 10, MediaPad T3 8. (For MediaPad tablets – 1 year warranty from date of purchase).
Google will allow Huawei to use its Android OS?
Another retailer, DirectD, also running the same offer in Malaysia. It is valid for new devices bought starting 24th June 2019.
According to DirectD announcement, you can get 100% full refunds on your new Huawei smartphone and tablet if Google Play Store, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp fails to work within the warranty period.
