May 2024 security patch makes its way to Huawei MatePad SE users
May 2024 security patch is now approaching Huawei MatePad SE users in the global market with new safety improvements. The firmware aims to make the tablet more secure from harmful privacy exploits that could ruin the overall user experience.
Huawei MatePad SE has not received the HarmonyOS 4.0 upgrade and it seems it isn’t lucky to grab the 4.2 version as well. However, the tech maker might give it a chance with a new major software update as given to its old Chinese models.
Till then you can install the current firmware which is arriving as the most-needed build for your device. As per the changelog, the Huawei MatePad SE is getting the May 2024 security patch via the HarmonyOS 3.0.0.166 build number.
Users need to download a software package of 317 Megabytes to feed the latest security improvements to their tablets. This update also fixes multiple privacy-related vulnerabilities and offers a bug-free experience to MatePad SE tablet owners.
It further treats any system glitch, freezing, and lags while performing certain operations. Hence we suggest installing the newest update as it shows on the notification panel.
