May 2023 Update comes to Huawei Nova 10 series (EMUI 12)

Global variants of the Huawei Nova 10 series are now receiving a new software update, which brings May 2023 security patch. This is quite surprising as the company has confirmed EMUI 13 release date for the device.

You should know that May 2023 security update for Huawei Nova 10 series will come with EMUI version 12.0.1.180. Other than the security patch, there aren’t any further changes noted in the OTA changelog.

Huawei Nova 10 series carries the most up-to-date features for global customers. These include the fastest 100W charging, a powerful rear camera, and a high-quality front camera system. However, the next major upgrade will make it even more useful than ever before.

Speaking of this release, Huawei Nova 10 and 10 Pro users can look for new firmware via Settings. You will have to follow the on-screen instructions in order to get the latest software.

To do so, go to System & updates, from here tap on Software update, and then select CHECK FOR UPDATES. Subsequently, the system will start checking for the latest firmware and pop it up on the screen, if available.

To be mentioned, the download speed of the package may vary depending on the internet speed. The device will restart once the installation finishes.
