March 2022 HarmonyOS security releases for Honor 30S

Honor 30S has begun receiving a new firmware in China that brings it March 2022 HarmonyOS security improvements. Although, the update doesn’t include any other major changes except for the latest security patch changes.

The March 2022 HarmonyOS security update for the Honor 30S smartphone in China comes with firmware version 2.0.0.224. While the update is rolling out for various models including:

Honor 30S (CDY-AN90)
Honor 30S (CDY-AN95)
Honor 30S (CDY-TN90)

Corresponding consumers can download this firmware by visiting, Settings > System & updates > from here tapping Software updates and then opening the on-screen instructions. Alternatively, the corresponding consumers can get this update via the My Huawei app.

Don’t forget to make a backup of important data before proceeding with the software upgrade process and maintain sufficient battery levels to prevent outage of power.

Rollout in phases:

This software rollout is currently airing in China for the Honor 30S models running HarmonyOS operating system in batches. Therefore, some consumers may need to wait to get the latest software rollout on their models.
