March 2022 HarmonyOS security improvements released for Honor Pad 6

Huawei is rolling the latest HarmonyOS update for Honor Pad 6 tablet that mainly installs the March 2022 security improvements for improved system security. This update is a part of monthly maintenance for the devices, so get it now!

According to the information, Honor Pad 6 tablet’s March 2022 security update landed on the ground with HarmonyOS build number 2.0.0.245, which is updated from HM OS version 2.0.0.235.

As always, the update is rolling out in batches and may take some time to reach you. Don’t get panic and keep your one eye on the update section. Instead of waiting for an OTA update because there is a possibility that you may miss the notification.

To check for updates manually, go to the phone’s settings and tap on system & updates followed by software updates. Now, a page appears with a check for updates option, tap on it. Now, let the phone connect to the server and get the latest update for you.

March 2022 HarmonyOS security patch details:

With March 2022 security update, Huawei has resolved a bunch of vulnerabilities among them 10 CVEs are from the system and 25 CVEs were fixed in the third-party libraries for improved systems security.

Notes:

Don’t forget to make a back copy of your important data. However, the update won’t delete your data but it’s good to have a copy. Also, keep your phone charged at least 20% and above as well as maintain the adequate amount of storage space to download the package. Use stable and strong WiFi or data connection to better update experience.
