March 2021 security update rolling out for Huawei Mate 30 series smartphones

In the recent past, Huawei has changed its update rollout pattern and started releasing new software updates in the global market ahead mainland if needed.

Early this month, Huawei has kicked off a new firmware update for Huawei Mate 30 Pro users in Australia and Indonesia. This update brought the security improvements released in March 2021 for improved system security.

Now, the same security patch is rolling out for Huawei Mate 30 series smartphone users in the Chinese market. According to the changelog, it fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs.

EMUI Status:

Since EMUI 11 launch, the Huawei Mate 30 series has been part of the EMUI 11 beta testing program. After months of beta activity, the Mate 30 lineup phones upgraded over stable EMUI 11 version in November 2020 on the home ground.

As per EMUI 11 official rollout roadmap for global variants, Huawei has concluded the major update program in December 2020 via sending stable EMUI 11 version for Mate 30 smartphones across the globe.

Latest Version:

Huawei Mate 30 series smartphone users can identify this update with EMUI version 11.0.0.176 upgraded from 11.0.0.175. Currently, this update is rolling out in China and soon expand in other regions.
