March 2021 security improvement released for Honor 9A smartphone in Europe

Honor 9A getting a Magic UI software update, which installs the security patch released in March 2021. This update brings optimizations for system security and improves the overall device performance.

According to the changelog, the March 2021 security update fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs that help the device to fight against the threats.

As recently, Honor has delivered the February 2021 security improvements to Honor 9A smartphone users in India. On the other hand, the company now started pushing March 2021 patch in other regions for this device.

At the moment, this latest update is rolling out in Europe and soon expand to other parts of the globe. This device users can download the update via the following update instructions listed at the end of the post.

To be mentioned, the Honor 9A model is part of the quarterly update device list but the company continues to roll out regular firmware updates to increase smartphone performance.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

You can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
