Malaysian Prime Minister used Huawei Mate X to demonstrate 5G video call with Mate 20X 5G
Earlier today we saw a live image of Huawei’s Mate 20X 5G phone and now this 5G phone along with its 5G sibling – Mate X has been used in yesterday’s video call demo at 5G Malaysia Showcase event in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

At the event, Prime Minister of Malaysia – Mahathir Bin Mohamad demonstrated the first 5G video call using Huawei Mate X to the other end on Mate 20X 5G. Which shows both of these phones will be available in the country when the network will be available for general consumers.
Apart from the foldable phone, the event confirmed that Huawei Mate 20X 5G mobile phone configuration is similar to its 4G version Mate 20X. And now comes equipped with 5G network support with a reduced amount of battery – 4200mAh, compared to Mate 20X’s 5000mAh.
The rest of the specs remains same as Mate 20 X 4G edition, featuring a 7.2-inch OLED screen, powered by Kirin 980 processor, 8GB of RAM and Triple rear camera setup on the back.

In addition to the new 40W super fast charge and 5G network support, Huawei Mate 20X 5G also have the fingerprint recognition on the back and the support of M-Pen stylus.
