Leak suggests Huawei Mate 70 series launch could delay
Rumors suggested that the Huawei Mate 70 series will launch in October this year, but this procedure might delay. A recent input from Weibo hints that several factors may result in the slowdown of the upcoming flagship Mate smartphone lineup release.
Tipster @FixedFocus says that Huawei fans can currently cherish the new Pura 70 models and wait for other products. To clarify, a tipster – summary man said that users can buy Pura 70 phones as soon as possible to experience a new phase.
He adds that ‘other products’ refer to the Huawei Mate 70 series which could delay for a long time compared to its predecessors – Mate 60 which landed in August 2023.
Some early inputs predicted that the Chinese OEM is likely to introduce the Mate 70 series in the second half of this year. Later, a tipster said that one can expect to see the premium lineup in mid-October this year, battling with the iPhone 16 series.
Although things may take a sudden turn. Further details reveal a few factors behind the slowdown which are as follows:

The summary man cited that the company could take time to implement the newest components to its upcoming lineup. The major one is the pre-installed HarmonyOS NEXT. Huawei said to bring the HarmonyOS NEXT beta in June 2024.

Another addition is the new Kirin chips. Some revelations hint that the approaching Mate handsets will equip new self-developed processors and better capabilities over the previous-generation models. Hence these reasons may shift the launch to later.
During the Analyst Summit 2024, Huawei’s Rotating Chairman Xu Zhijun said to unveil the stable HarmonyOS NEXT this year with the Mate 70 series. Yet he didn’t mention any specific launch time for both these products.
