Leak suggests Huawei Mate 60 series to use smart capsule front animations

Huawei Mate 60 series is coming and there are several new news hits on our senses including the Smart Capsule feature. Yes, this is a brand-new functionality that Huawei is reportedly preparing for this upcoming flagship.

According to FixedFocus, Huawei Mate 60 will equip a smart capsule feature. The tipster declined that it won’t be called “Smart/Dynamic Island”, which referred to iPhones.

The tipster also shared a screenshot of the new front mechanism of the Huawei Mate 60 series including the notch. It’s shown that there will be a wide pill shape notch on the head with various sensors. Specifically, it has a 3D ToF facial recognition system and a selfie camera to take your photos. The megapixel count for the front camera is currently unknown.

In the comment section, it’s said that the pill may be smaller than iPhone 15 but it’s smarter than Apple’s device. This is kind of interesting to me because the phone will equip HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system. And Huawei has reportedly tuned some exclusive Mate 60 series features to support the Smart capsule animations.
