Leak says Huawei increases Kirin chip volume for upcoming flagship devices
Huawei seemingly increases its Kirin chip volume for the upcoming top flagship products. The company is preparing new phones and tablets with advanced capabilities and a powerful chip addition may further enhance their functionality.
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation states that the Kirin chip continues to increase in volume and reason behind this stock growth could be a set of new Huawei devices.
It seems the company has resolved the supply chain problems related to the Kirin chip production. Although how far things will remain on track is still a big question.
Inputs also reveal the premium models that are currently in the pipeline and will launch in the coming months. The list begins with a large tablet that supports Beidou’s satellite messaging capability as well as NearLink Technology.
Two days back, a MatePad MRO-W00 model appeared on the radio approval database with a satellite SMS feature. This could be the same tablet mentioned in the leak.
Other products in the list include two high-end smartphone series. Both lineups are said to use Kirin 5G chips for all models. These two could be the Nova 13 and Mate 70 series.
The former has been in rumors to adopt the Pura 70 Ultra’s Kirin 9010 chipset for all variants. Whereas, the latter is expected to use a brand-new powerful Kirin processor. Mate 70 models were also expected to use a 5nm process technology but it might not be possible for now.
Battery:
Apart from chip details, the tipster mentioned that these devices may use a large battery (probably bigger than 6000 cell capacity). Thus the upcoming products will be more durable, high-performance-oriented, and possess better functionalities.
Huawei has not commented on this news so far. Therefore it is better to keep the accuracy of this leak blank for the moment. Yet we will keep you posted with the newest revelations on this matter.
