According to the internal configuration sheet that surfaced online, the Huawei Nova 12 Ultra will be equipped with a Kirin 9000s chip. However, the overall core adjustment is a bit different from that of the Mate 60 Pro.

Looking into the processor sheet, the new Kirin 9000s version offers a super large core of 2.49GHz frequency. Besides, the large core ranges to 2.15GHz the small core has a frequency of 1.53GHz.

On the other hand, it accompanies the Maleoon 910 GPU. Together, these key specs hint that the Nova 12 Ultra is likely to use a down-clocked variant of the Kirin 9000s 5G processor. It has shown the same cores that have been leaked before.

Comparison

Huawei Mate 60 Pro core information includes 1 × 2.62GHz + 3 × 2.15GHz + 4 × 1.53GHz, and the identification code Cortex-A78. The only change between Mate 60 Pro and Nova 12 Ultra is the frequency of the super large core.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro Kirin 9000s core architecture:

  • 4 x 1.53GHz + 3 x 2.15GHz + 1 x 2.62GHz

Huawei Nova 12 Ultra Kirin 9000s core architecture:

  • 4 x 1.53GHz + 6 x 2.15GHz + 2 x 2.49GH

It is worth mentioning that not all Nova 12 models will use the Kirin chipset. The entry-level and standard hearsay to equip Snapdragon processors. While the high-end variants are likely to land on the surface with Kirin technology. It would be worth seeing, how much grades Nova 12 Ultra will score in performance.
