Leak hints Huawei may further delay Nova 13 series launch
Huawei Nova 13 series continues to spin in launch rumors and it seems the company may further delay its release. A new input suggests that the Chinese OEM will likely unveil the next Nova lineup in the fourth quarter of this year.
As @FixedFocus noted, the Huawei Nova 13 series launch could delay until October. The tipster says the company may release the new high-end smartphone lineup in the ‘Double Ninth Festival’, which will fall on October 11, 2024.
In the Double Ninth Festival, also known as the ‘Old Men Festival’, elderly people participate in health activities. People remember their ancestors and their hardships. Citizens celebrate it on the ninth day of the ninth month, as per the Chinese calendar.
The leak adds that Huawei might launch the Nova 13 series around this festival in October. Many netizens questioned if the next Nova line will collide with the Mate 70 series launch as it’s also in rumor to arrive in the same month.
For Mate 70, Huawei confirmed to launch the flagship line in Q4 2024. Although the company has not confirmed the news regarding the next Nova series yet.
Huawei Nova 13 series was said to launch in June this year. Thereafter, an input stated that the company might shift this time to the early third quarter, probably July. Now it seems we have to wait for more to have an official glimpse of the new lineup.
The Chinese firm is also allegedly working on a new “Nova” foldable which is likely to launch in August. Thus, the delay in the Nova 13 line launch could be due to the mid-range folding handset.
The latest leak contradicts a previous rumor that said the Nova 13 series is almost ready and could initiate mass production at any time. Huawei has not confirmed the news yet. Hence, it’s better to take the Nova 13 series launch leaks with a grain of salt.
