Latest info confirms HarmonyOS upgrade for Huawei P30 devices, kernel changed on HiSuit app
We’re in April and fastly moving towards the launch of HarmonyOS for Huawei mobile devices. This month the company will start testing the HarmonyOS mobile beta for general consumers and will begin the process of bringing this mobile software for public users.
According to the information, Huawei will first open the internal beta on Huawei Mate X2, Mate 40, and P40 series devices. The Chinese tech giant then began testing for more Huawei phone models.

We don’t know about all of the phones but there’s some new info coming from a good tipster from Weibo, who suggests that HarmonyOS will be coming to the Huawei P30 devices. How? Let’s find out.
The screenshot shared by the tipster reveals the Huawei HiSuite app that now identifying the Huawei P30 Pro device with HarmonyOS 2.0 kernel, which was previously identified as EMUI 11.
According to the information, the latest changes have appeared on the Chinese models of the Huawei P30 Pro and been appeared after February 2020 security software update. However, nothing to be told on the global models at the moment.
Alongside the Huawei P30, the Huawei P40 Pro has also been identified with the same HarmonyOS kernel. Both of these indicate that these phones are getting ready for HarmonyOS testing and further information will be revealed later on.

Other than this, leaks have also suggested that the company could go up to the lowest possible hardware selection to upgrade with HarmonyOS including the Kirin 810 and even Kirin 710 platform. Still, an official confirmation is required on this matter.
