Latest Huawei Mate X2 update brings touch sensitivity and system stability optimizations

Huawei Mate X2 is the latest foldable smartphone of Huawei, which launched with pre-installed EMUI 11, and currently, it is a part of HarmonyOS 2.0 public developer beta testing program.

Last month, Huawei added new 19 devices to the HarmonyOS 2.0 testing pool including Mate X2, models from Mate 40, P40, Mate 30, MatePad Pro, and Smart Screen S series.

According to the information, Huawei will launch the HarmonyOS 2.0 for the public in the next product launch conference, which is scheduled to happen on June 2. Previously, it was also reported that the first batch of large-scale process devices includes Mate X2, P40, and more.

Huawei Mate X2 smartphone general users are just a few weeks away from getting HarmonyOS 2.0 on their devices. In the meantime, Huawei has started sending a new EMUI version for this foldable phone that brings improvement to the system.

This update comes with optimizations for the screen touch sensitivity to sense the user touch faster in order to respond faster and system stability to run the smartphone more stable.

EMUI version:

Huawei Mate X2 next-generation folding phone receiving the latest EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.165 SP2 upgrading from 11.0.0.165 SP1.

Note: This version adopts the membership service registration application method.

Key points to users before Update:

• The device must have a better battery backup to install this update that is a minimum of 50%.
• It’s compulsory to check your storage availability(Internal/External SDcard) to download the latest update as per its size required
• A strong WiFi/mobile data connection is required for a buffer-free download of the package.

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on System & updates
3. Tap Software update
4. Tap Check for Updates
5. Download and Install
6. Install

After the installation and restart, we recommend you let the system optimize the new application so your device can run smoothly on further commands.
