Kirin chip for Huawei Mate 70 could improve benchmark score
Huawei seemingly focuses on improving its Kirin chip performance for the upcoming flagship models and it looks like, the one for Mate 70 series could offer an enhanced benchmark score. A new leak has shed some light on the next Kirin product.
After the Pura brand, the OEM seems gearing up the Mate 70 series development with a powerful Kirin chipset. Some previous inputs said that the processor could be equivalent to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Now we have new details in hand.
Weibo tipster @DirectorShiGuan says the company has well-reformed its new Kirin chip for the Huawei Mate 70 series and it may result in a better benchmark score. The processor seems relatively smooth and might bring upgraded performance for the flagship handsets.
Further inputs reveal that the new Kirin chip for the Mate 70 series could exceed 1.1 million points in benchmark scoring. Although the tipster has not mentioned any specific benchmark platform or relevant details for the moment.
Comparison:
The leak suggests that the newly introduced Kirin 9010 scored around 96-98 million points in terms of performance. Whereas, the Kirin 9000s in the Mate 60 Pro achieved 699783 points on the AnTuTu listing, appeared comparable to the Snapdragon 888.
Hence we could expect that the next Kirin chip will surpass its previous versions with better scores for performance, power consumption, and other key aspects.
New Components:
Huawei is also in rumors to test new GPU and NPU solutions for its Kirin chips. With upgraded technology and core architecture, the processor could offer a boost to Mate 70 series. Yet we can’t rule out the possibility without official words on this matter.
Such leaks continue to increase consumers’ expectations for the Mate 70 lineup. The flagship series is already said to bring impressive camera segments this year.
Meanwhile, new information has enlightened the Kirin aspect for the next Mate series. It would be worth seeing what else we will find with the new devices in the time ahead.
