June 2022 update enhances system security for Huawei Mate 30 series [China]
Huawei has dispatched the June 2022 security update for the Mate 30 series. This series includes the standard Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, and Mate 30 RS Porsche Design. Currently, the new update is stepping into the Chinese market for the respective device consumers.
According to the information, Huawei Mate 30 series June 2022 security update is landing on the HarmonyOS ground. The version of the new firmware appears as 2.0.0.247. Consequently, for upgrading the device users must have the base build version as HarmonyOS 2.0.0.230.
Compatible Models
Here is the list of Mate 30 series models that are compatible with the new update:
- Mate 30 (4G) Full Netcom Version TAS-AL00
- Mate 30 (4G) Mobile Custom Version TAS-TL00
- Mate 30 (5G) Full Netcom Version TAS-AN00
- Mate 30 Pro (4G) Full Netcom Version LIO-AL00
- Mate 30 Pro (4G ) ) Mobile customized version LIO-TL00
- Mate 30 Pro (5G) Full Netcom version LIO-AN00
- Mate 30 RS Porsche Design LIO-AN00P
These models carry the letter C in their model number. The letter C denotes C00/C01/C786. To verify the system version number, users can navigate to the Settings > About Phone > Version Number.
HarmonyOS 2.0.0.247 Changelog
While exploring the changelog, we did not find new implements to the system except for the June 2022 security patch. However, the update assures to optimize the performance of the overall device as well as the user experience.

How to install the update?
You can try two ways to install the new update for the Huawei Mate 30 series. Either you can download the firmware through Settings or can take the help of My Huawei App.
To download via Settings, go to the phone menu. Click on the Settings app. Choose the System & Updates option followed by Software Update. Besides, Tap on the Check for Updates and follow the on-screen instructions.
For installing the firmware through the My Huawei App – open the application, and visit the Update section. Further, proceed as per the norms appearing on the screen.
