July security update rolling out for Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro
Similar to the Huawei P20 devices, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro currently receiving EMUI 10 in different parts of the globe. On the other hand, the Mate 10 phones that not received the EMUI 10, may soon get their share of OTA.
Meanwhile, most of the users of Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro already upgraded to the latest EMUI version. And now, Huawei has now begun to rollout a new software update for the Huawei Mate 10, which brings July 2020 security patch.
Software Changelog:
Security: Integrated Android security patches released in July 2020 for improved system security.
The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.
Software Version:
Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro on EMUI 10.0 receiving the July 2020 update with EMUI 10.0.0.175 upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.170. This update is rolling out in China and may expand the global market.
