July 2020 security update starts to rollout for Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on EMUI 10.1
Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro devices around the globe receiving an upgrade on EMUI 10.1 but this major OTA is yet to reach some users in other locations.
Meanwhile, users of Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Pro, who’ve already upgraded to EMUI 10.1 now receiving a new update, which improves system security with Android patches released in July 2020.
Huawei Mate 20 devices that stayed on EMUI 10.0, currently have June 2020 level of the security patch.

July 2020 Security Patch Details:
The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.
EMUI:
The latest security patch for Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Pro comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.287 (C185E7R1P5) and a software package size of 303MB.
