JD HarmonyOS native app official version to launch later this month
JD – the popular Chinese shopping platform announced that it will launch the official JD HarmonyOS native app version this month. The company has completed the stable version development and will soon release it to a wide range of customers.
The shopping channel shared the news on its official Weibo account. The post’s caption reads ‘JD HarmonyOS Launch Outlook’. After the core build, the company readied the stable JD HarmonyOS native app version with various useful features.
App developers have two options to build HarmonyOS native apps with: the native ArkTS or the Taro solution. JD has chosen the Taro open cross-device and cross-framework solution to develop its HarmonyOS native app official version.
JD picked this option to avoid tight delivery timings and heavy tasks in the ArkTS segment. The Taro solution enables developers to use a set of codes for running many platforms and mini-programs together. For instance, H5 and HarmonyOS.

It also supports the packaging of certain pages in the project and integrates it into native HarmonyOS apps in a modular form. It enhances the app interface with several polishing and optimization processes. Thus, the app looks impressive.
With the Taro solution, the final loading time of the JD HarmonyOS native app’s homepage is 1062ms time. The app’s performance is 23.9% better than ArkTS.
The loading time of the homepage details like commercial products and their price takes 560ms in the JD HarmonyOS native app. It is 74.2% faster than the previous build. Users will get smoother, faster, and more reliable interactions with the app.

JD hasn’t revealed the exact time for launching the official HarmonyOS native app. Although the company could announce it or may directly present the application in the coming days.
