Rumors for Huawei Mate 70 series pre-order activity have been flying in the air. But thanks to the official store staff as they responded on this matter and cleared the mist. Yes, there is no such pre-booking for the next Mate lineup at the time being.

This morning, a Weibo tipster shared a Huawei store receipt. On the purchased item, the receipt shows ‘Mate 70 Pro’. It also reveals the official company’s seal, hinting that the tech giant silently began the pre-booking activity for its flagship lineup.

A user even said that he paid a 1000 yuan deposit and would get the pre-reservation slip later. The rumor ultimately created a buzz among Huawei fans who have been looking forward to new changes in the upcoming Mate 70 smartphones.

Although Huawei has finally marked an end to the Mate 70 series pre-order rumor. The official store staff responded that they didn’t receive any pre-ordering notification from the company. Hence the pre-order news is nothing but a false statement.

“We had not received any notification yet. Huawei has not officially opened the pre-order for the Mate 70 series. Any information about the launch of the Mate 70 is subject to official details.” – a Beijing Huawei Store salesperson.

This is obviously not possible as Huawei has scheduled the Mate 70 series launch for Q4 2024. The exact time is missing from frames, but may launch around mid-September to October. Hence, the reservation work will also catch up later this year.

Also, the company will more likely initiate a ‘Pioneer Program’ for its flagship handsets. Here, users get the chance to directly purchase the device and experience it ahead of the official launch. This eventually eliminates the ordinary pre-order process.

Huawei Mate 70 series is still in the development stage. A major part of this flagship that continues to be a mystery is the camera segment. The upcoming Mate series is said to use the newest OmniVision lenses for high-quality and superb photography.

The Chinese tech giant is also testing lenses like OV50N and OV50M for the Mate 70 smartphone. Another interesting leak added that the next Mate lineup could feature the Pura 70 Ultra’s retractable camera lens for an impressive feel and experience.
