iPhone 15 Pro comes 2nd on DXOMARK alongside Max model, Huawei P60 Pro still on 1st
Apple’s recent iPhone 15 Pro model has achieved 2nd place on DXOMARK camera evaluation ranking for the rear camera test, sharing the spot with the iPhone 15 Pro Max but Huawei P60 Pro is still 1st on the chart.
According to the DXOMARK listing, iPhone 15 Pro achieved 154 points on the tally similar to the Pro Max variant. On the other hand, Huawei P60 Pro has 156 points on the rear camera section.
The camera system of the iPhone 15 Pro is formed into the latest three-lens design. It includes a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens. Among them, the wide-angle lens has 48 million pixels, with a unit pixel area of 1.4 μm and an optical anti-shake function.
The ultra-wide-angle lens has 12 million pixels, supporting a 120-degree field of view. The telephoto lens has 12 million pixels, supporting up to 3x optical zoom. This Apple device also uses a front-facing 12-megapixel true-depth lens that supports Face ID facial recognition features.
In terms of Pros and Cons, the iPhone 15 Pro has accurate exposure, excellent detail performance in bright conditions, and fast and accurate autofocus. It lacks noise, spots, ghosting, and jaggedness in dark light environments and a reduced detail in the telephoto lens.
