Ming-Chi Kuo is a well-known industry analyst and this person has lots of insights about Apple technologies. Recently, Kuo revealed that iPhone 14 is testing new satellite communication technology, which will first be unveiled by Huawei Mate 50.

Satellite communication allows devices to fetch in communication services due to the lack of mobile network services, these would allow any consumer of the corresponding supported device to run call and SMS services without cellular connectivity.

However, there’s a catch in this service, as it requires network carrier service providers to also support such functionality. Yet, in Huawei’s case, it’ll be supported by China’s BDS (BeiDou Navigation Satellite) system and the country’s network providers.

It’s reported that iPhone 14 has already completed the hardware to support the satellite communication feature. However, Kuo remained confirmed on whether iPhone 14 will have new communication support this year or the next.

Aside from iPhone 14, Huawei will boast this feature in smartphones in the coming year and more Chinese phone makers will participate in the feature.

Huawei will release the Mate 50 series on September 6, and Apple will unveil the iPhone 14 lineup on September 7. Both of these devices are likely to clash with each in the Chinese market, where Huawei is set to make a return in the flagship world with its new generation of smartphones.

On one end, Huawei Mate 50 Pro will bring back the notch system, on the other hand, iPhone 14 Pro will set you free of the notch.

Yes! It’ll be an interesting match to watch and how Huawei returns to the smartphone industry against tough even the toughest competitor.
