On June 29, 2021, at the 2021 MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, Spain, the managing director of Huawei – Di Yun gave a keynote speech entitled “Innovation, Light Up the Future” to showcase the importance of technology and use cases.

He pointed out the with new innovations and technologies ICT industry has been becoming the future technology, leaving the telecom industry behind. We just entered the 5G era that will redefine the global economy, ICT standards and brings a lighted up future with the ceaseless discovery of new techniques.

ICT Industry: Global Economy Development

According to Huawei MD, nowadays global economy revolves around the digital economy under the worldwide pandemic. ICT technologies cover a major part of the digital economy. We can say that the ICT industry has more value on a global scale than the telecommunications industry.

Talking about the Chinese market, about 820,000 5G base stations have been created in the previous 18th month. Also, the Chinese operators obtained a 6.5% of revenue growth with net profit growth of 5.6% for the 1stQ of 2021.

5G Innovations: Aims Marketing Accomplishments

Unquestionably, the 5G technologies and solutions are the backbone of the ICT industry and contributing to the digital economy. The Huawei MD believes that 5G has to work more in three major fields, which include consumers, homes, and industries.

Speaking of the consumer market, users don’t want the faster network experience only but beyond this. Ding Yun indicated that success in the 5GtoC market can be achieved by accelerating 5G deployment, developing key scenarios, and potential users. Or, we can create a value-based flexible pricing model.

Recently, Huawei has ee concluded more than 1,000 5Gto projects across 20 different markets like steel and mining, bringing safe and efficient production, building data centers, etc. At the same time, Chinese operators have made notable development in 5G-related technologies.

The Huawei MD explains that if we want to accomplish the commercial success of 5G, we must first build a 5G network that can provide the best experience. Huawei is continuously working in this line and providing the best 5G solutions to the consumers, and business partners.

Huawei Massive MIMO and multi-user MIMO technology have realized lower energy consumption to achieve maximum user experience. It shows the peak results such as 4 times greater capacity, 95% of lower power consumption, and 2.1 GHz and 3.5 GHz to enhance uplink capacity and indoor coverage.
