Huawei’s fastest 200W charger gets certificate, could feature on upcoming gaming book

Both Huawei and Honor have been using 56W and 65W fast chargers in their notebooks, and now the company seems to be preparing a major change in the charging capacity for its upcoming notebooks.

On July 9, 2020, a new Huawei charger HW-200A00P00 has received a certificate from China Compulsory Certificate (3C) in the Notebook Computer product category and comes with a maximum of 200W (20V, 10A) charging capacity.

This new charger is linked with the device model – FRD-WDG9, FRD-WFG9, FRD-WDD9, FRD-WFD9, and more.

Huawei’s subsidiary Honor is scheduled to launch a new gaming notebook in August, that will equip high specs and new processor. It’s speculated that this new gaming notebook could be the first to feature the 200W charger.

However, there’s no announcement currently been made by Huawei or Honor on this matter but we’ll keep you updated on further developments.
